There is a walk in clinic tomorrow, Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. for adults only, 18 and older.
Friday, there is a flu clinic noon to 6 p.m. by appointment. This clinic is currently full.
The RVNA is taking names, and will hope to schedule, another clinic next week.

Update: The Bethel Visiting Nurses Association, Ridgefield Visiting Nurses Association, Western Connecticut Home Care (Danbury VNA) and some local pharmacies are administering flu shots.
The Bethel VNA, 70 Stony Hill Road in Bethel, will be taking appointments for flu shots between the hours of 10 and noon for ages 4 and older until the vaccine is no longer available. The VNA accepts the following insurance, Aetna, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield (Anthem, Empire) ConnectiCare, Medicare HMOs, Medicare Part B. The shot is $35 and the nasal spray is $40.

The Ridgefield VNA, 90 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, may be reached by dialing 203-938-3300 and pressing three for flu line and vaccine clinics or zero to talk to an operator. Appointment only flu vaccines will be given on Friday, Jan. 18, from noon to 6 p.m. There will also be a children’s flu clinic on Friday, Jan. 18, fro ages 2 and up from noon to 6 p.m. Additional clinics will be scheduled with the availability of the vaccine. The following insurance is accepted, Aetna, ConnectiCare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare Part B and Empire HMO.The RVNA has a good supply of the high dose vaccine for those over the age of 65.

Co-pays and deductions may apply.
The cost for the vaccine without insurance is $39 and the flu mist is $49. High-dose is also available at $58.

The Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association will receive a shipment of vaccine for an “over 18 years of age” flu clinic tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 11, from 3 to 5 p.m. at its Ridgefield offices, 90 East Ridge, Ridgefield 06877.
The shipment of vaccine for “children 4 and up” will be available for a Wednesday Clinic, Jan. 16, from noon to 6 p.m. Appointments are strongly encouraged for the children’s vaccine. Additional clinics will be scheduled with the availability of the vaccine.
RVNA has a good supply of the high dose vaccine for those over 65 years of age.
Appointments are being taken for Friday, Jan. 18, from noon to 6. Walk-ins for adults are Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m.
