Lyrics Coffeehouse Series featuring singer and songwriter Pete Nelson at the Redding Community Center at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $12 or $10 in advance for each show. Saturday, Feb. 2
CPR Saturday at Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company, No. 1, from 8 to noon. Registration in advance is required. To register, leave a message at 203-544-8800 or email [email protected] and provide your name and phone number. While the course is free, to get an American Heart Association certification card, a participant must pay $5.
Take Your Child to the Library Day at the Mark Twain Library for children of all ages. Activities begin at 10 a.m. and continue throughout the day with the last event at 2:30. Saturday, Feb. 9
Mardi Gras Celebration and Crepe Feast hosted by Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Georgetown Cultural Center (formerly the Gilbert & Bennett School), 49 New Street, Wilton. Homemade crepes will be featured. There will be entertainment and a raffle. Tickets are $10 each or $7 for seniors over 65 and youth ages 3 to 10, and no charge for toddlers age 3 or younger.
