The Bethel Music Center is turning 30 this year and to celebrate BMC is holding a party open to the public at the store on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 to 5.

The event will include live music all day, huge in-store sales, new products, door prizes, light refreshments, and raffle drawings beginning at 4:30 p.m. Join the staff, many local music teachers, manufacturer representatives, and members of the community for the celebration.

On Nov. 19, 1984, Bruce Treidel opened the doors to Bethel Music Center in a tiny storefront across from Caraluzzi’s grocery store. Thirty years later, Bethel Music Center is still a flourishing, family-owned business in downtown Bethel.

Since their move to 273 Greenwood Avenue in 2008, BMC has continued to provide music lessons, sales, rentals, school services, repairs, and more to the greater Danbury area. The staff has worked hard at affiliating themselves with manufacturers of only the highest reputation for quality and service. BMC is proud to say that its focus on great customer service and creating an enjoyable shopping experience has made them the premier source for all of your music needs.

Raffle prizes will include a LAG acoustic guitar, a kid’s size electric guitar pack, and much more. Prizes will be given out all day.
