Watch: Nutmeg Sports at Grip It and Rip It 7-on-7 football

Grip It and Rip It celebrates its ninth year at New Canaan’s Dunning Field this weekend, as 32 teams battle for the tournament crown. Watch a special edition of HAN’s Nutmeg Sports during the opening of the two-day tournament on live at 2 p.m. on Friday (or on-demand) below:

Games will begin at 2:30 p.m., Friday, and will run through the final on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday, HAN will broadcast the semifinals and championship game live, starting at 1 p.m. You can read more about the tournament in this preview story.

The tournament will feature four divisions with eight teams each, as noted by the field those teams will play on Friday:
