Frank C. Booth, Sr., of Mooresville, N.C. and formerly of Wilton died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012. Mr. Booth, 59, was the husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Hawley Booth for 38 years.
Born in Norwalk on Nov. 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Irmgard Emmel and Frank William Booth. His family later moved to Wilton where he grew up.
In July 2007, he retired from the Town of Wilton Public Works as the highway superintendent after 33 years of dedicated service. He also served the town as a lifetime member of the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company. After retirement he moved to North Carolina where he was employed by the Iredell-Statesville schools as a traffic guard.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Frank Booth, Jr. and Danielle Booth; his daughter-in-law Meredith McConnell Booth, a brother Norbert Metzger; a sister Heidi Bodner; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held for friends and family on Monday, Nov. 26, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown, Ct.
