Youth symphony’s concert is this Sunday, Nov. 18

The Norwalk Youth Symphony will be presenting its opening concert of its 57th season on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. at Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Avenue, Norwalk. This concert is dedicated to the area’s public and private school music teachers.

The upcoming concert will feature performances by five tiered Norwalk Youth Symphony orchestras:  Prelude Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestral Winds, Philharmonia String Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and Principal Orchestra.

Tickets are available at the door. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors/students and  free for children under 5 and music teachers.

The Norwalk Youth Symphony is  comprised of musicians in grades four through 12 from over 29 neighboring cities and towns.  NYS membership is secured by audition only.  For information call 203-866-4100 or visit www.norwalkyouthsymphony.org.
