Genealogy topic for DAR

The Drum Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold its Thursday, Jan. 17, meeting at the Wilton Library, where it is co-sponsoring with the library a presentation entitled “New Genealogy Research Techniques.”

The talk will be given by Jolene Mullen of New Milford, who has trained with the national DAR organization to be a field genealogist. This is the third of her speaking events presented by Drum Hill.

The public is invited, and those interested are asked to register by calling Mary Bendix at 203-762-1379 or the library at 203-762-3950. Coffee and dessert will be served, after the 11 a.m. program.
