‘Ask your legislators’ is on March 13

The Redding League of Women Voters is hosting “Ask Your Legislators” on Thursday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.

On hand to address the public briefly before taking questions from the audience will be State Sen. Toni Boucher (R-26), State Rep. Dan Carter (R-2) and State Rep. John Shaban (R-135). Former First Selectman Natalie Ketcham will moderate the event.

The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with refreshments and a chance to talk with friends and neighbors. At 7:30 p.m., each legislator will have a few moments to say what’s on his or her mind about the current General Assembly session in Hartford, after which Ms. Ketcham will take questions from the audience for the legislators.

The forum provides an opportunity to ask questions of the town’s legislators regarding the current political scene in Hartford — and to express one’s views and concerns to the representatives.

The legislative forum will be aired on Public Access TV Channel 79. For questions, call league secretary Emily d’Aulaire at 938-3612. For information on joining the Redding League of Women Voters, contact Margi Esten ([email protected]).
