Saturday, Feb. 9

Mardi Gras Celebration and Crepe Feast hosted by Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Georgetown Cultural Center (formerly the Gilbert & Bennett School), 49 New Street, Wilton. Homemade crepes will be featured. There will be entertainment and a raffle. Tickets are $10 each or $7 for seniors over 65 and youth ages 3 to 10, and no charge for toddlers age 3 or younger. For reservations, call 203-544-8858. Snow date is Feb. 10, same time and place.

Monday, Feb. 11

Redding Garden Club meeting, Redding Community Center starting at 11:30 a.m. with a light lunch and business meeting followed by a speaker — Sean McNamara, deputy tree warden — at 1. Thursday, Feb. 14 and Friday, Feb. 15

“Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up” will be performed at Joel Barlow High School on Thursday, Feb. 14, and Friday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. Performances are in the Joel Barlow High School’s Auditorium, 100 Black Rock Turnpike (Route 58). All tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door. There is no reserved seating.

Saturday, March 9

An Intimate Evening with Michael Ian Black is set at the Mark Twain Library from 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Black, a comedian, will talk about his Book You’re Not Doing It Right, followed by a book signing and wine and beer reception. The cost is $20 per person and the program is intended for a mature audience. Registration is a must by calling 203-938-2545.
